Metal 金

In the Chinese Five Elements, Metal (金) represents structure and refinement — the drive to define, sharpen, and finish cleanly. Along with Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, it is one of the five qualities the BaZi (Four Pillars) system uses to read the balance of a birth chart.

Your Day Master is the element at the center of your chart. When Metal is your Day Master, this structure and refinement quality colors how you think, move, and respond — and the other four elements around it show what supports you and what is scarce.

Enter your birth details to see whether Metal is your Day Master and how much metal energy is present in your own chart.
