Earth 土

In the Chinese Five Elements, Earth (土) represents stability and nurture — the drive to ground, sustain, and make things steady. Along with Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, it is one of the five qualities the BaZi (Four Pillars) system uses to read the balance of a birth chart.

Your Day Master is the element at the center of your chart. When Earth is your Day Master, this stability and nurture quality colors how you think, move, and respond — and the other four elements around it show what supports you and what is scarce.
